On Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, Professor Mohamed BOUKHARI, President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council (NESEC), welcomed Ms Katarina JOHANSSON, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) representative in Algeria, to the Council’s headquarters.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the projects carried out under the cooperation between the two institutions. Both parties expressed their full satisfaction and gratitude for the work accomplished, commending the efforts made and the positive outcomes achieved in the field.

They also discussed prospects for future collaboration and examined new proposals aimed at enhancing impact across various areas related to childhood and child welfare.
