On the occasion of United Nations Public Service Day, celebrated annually on the 23rd of June, Professor Mohamed BOUKHARI, President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council (NESEC), participated in the opening session of a study day entitled “Public Service in the front of Current Transformations: Enhancing Performance and Fostering Innovation for Citizen Satisfaction.” The event was organized by the Mediator of the Republic in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and held at the Higher National School of Political Science.

The study day brought together academics, researchers and representatives of key national institutions, including the High Authority for Transparency, Prevention and Fight against Corruption and the High Commission for Digitization. Speakers delivered a series of presentations on public service, emphasizing the importance of modernizing and improving public services to meet citizens’ needs effectively and highlighting the vital role of universities in achieving this strategic goal.

The NESEC President’s participation reflects his steadfast commitment to addressing citizens’ concerns and promoting their well-being, in accordance with the NESEC’s core mission and values of social dialogue and citizen consultation.
