Professor Mohamed Boukhari, President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council, received his Chadian counterpart, Dr. Ahmed Mbodou Mahamat, President of the Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Council of the Republic of Chad, on Saturday morning, 31 January 2026 at Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers.

Dr. Mahamat arrived in Algiers at the head of a substantial delegation for an official working visit scheduled from 31 January to 3 February 2026.

The visit is part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between the two advisory institutions. It will provide a key opportunity to consolidate bilateral ties and to deepen consultations across the economic, social and environmental fields.
