The Bureau of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council held its second meeting to review and approve files for adoption at the forthcoming NESEC Plenary Assembly.

Bureau members commended the quality of the studies presented, highlighting the rigorous analysis and extensive supporting documentation. This thorough preparation by the Council’s support services provided permanent committees with solid working foundations for in-depth study and for formulating well‑informed recommendations.

During the meeting, the Bureau examined the Council’s 2026 action plan, as proposed by its five commissions and approved the Council’s 2025 activity report.

Discussions were held in a constructive working atmosphere, demonstrating the harmonious coordination between the Council’s technical support services and the members’ expertise in producing high‑quality institutional consultative outputs.
