An ad hoc commission entrusted with preparing the draft Charter of Ethics and Professional Conduct for the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council met on Monday, 2 February 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Council’s headquarters.

Following the commission’s formal installation by the President of the Council, members began a review of the draft Charter, which had been presented to the Bureau at its meeting on Thursday, 29 January 2026 and had received provisional agreement.

The commission members proceeded to refine and conduct a thorough examination of the draft in accordance with the applicable procedures, aiming to present it to the next General Assembly for consideration and approval.
