Professor Mohamed Boukhari, President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council (NESEC), took part on Saturday, 15 November, at the Moufdi Zakaria Palace of Culture, in the closing ceremonies of the 26th edition of the International Handicrafts Fair, held under the theme: “Algerian Handicrafts: Heritage, Authenticity and Artistic Creativity.”

This year’s edition concluded in an atmosphere of celebration and recognition, marked by the commemoration of National Artisan Day, observed each year on 9 November. On this occasion, several Algerian and international artisans distinguished by the excellence of their craftsmanship were honoured for their contribution to the preservation and promotion of artisanal heritage.
