At the invitation of Ms. Kaoutar Krikou, the Minister of Environment and Quality of Life, Professor Mohamed Boukhari, President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council, attended the opening ceremony of the first National Study Forum on Quality of Life on 21 December 2025 at the Moufdi Zakaria Palace of Culture.  

Organised under the auspices of the Prime Minister, Sifi Ghrieb, the forum’s theme was “National Achievements in the Face of Development Challenges.” The event brought together senior officials from ministerial departments, representatives of public institutions, as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Algeria. 

As part of its contributions, the NESEC delivered a presentation entitled “The Council’s Support for the Promotion of Environmental Practices and the Improvement of Living Conditions.”
