Professor Mohamed Boukhari, President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council, attended the opening ceremony of the national symposium on “legal certainty and its impact on economic eevelopment” on Saturday, 27 December 2025, at the Abdelatif Rahal Conference Centre in Algiers.
The symposium addressed the concept of legal certainty in its two fundamental dimensions: the legislative and regulatory framework and its practical implementation. It also examined mechanisms for strengthening the legal security of administrative acts, with particular emphasis on their direct impact to improve the business climate and to accelerate the pace of economic development.
Held under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune and under the supervision of the Prime Minister, Mr Sifi Ghrieb, the event was attended by the President of the Council of the Nation, the President of the Constitutional Court and the Minister of Justice, Keeper of Seals.
The proceedings also included members of the government, the Adviser to the President of the Republic for Legal and Judicial Affairs and the Adviser to the President of the Republic responsible for Finance, Banking, Budget, Foreign Exchange Reserves, Public Procurement and International Compensation, as well as representatives of consultative institutions and judicial authorities.
