Within the framework of strengthening institutional cooperation, Professor Mohamed Boukhari, President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council, alongside Mr. Kamel Baddari, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, presided over the signing ceremony of a framework agreement for cooperation in studies and scientific research on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

This agreement reflects a shared commitment by both institutions to consolidate inter-institutional ties, exchange expertise and align scientific research with the country’s economic, social and environmental development goals.

The event also marked the signing of ten (10) specific cooperation agreements between the NESEC and various universities and research institutions operating under the Ministry’s purview, a step highlighting the growing synergy among key operators in higher education, research and training.

From both training and practical standpoint, these agreements establish a platform for launching high-quality and specialized training programs designed to enhance the skills and capabilities of students, researchers and personnel directly involved in the joint projects.

Ultimately, these agreements represent a decisive step toward bridging science and development, positioning universities as primary engines for national progress. This dynamic partnership extends beyond formal paperwork, laying the foundation for a new generation of skilled professionals capable of driving the country toward a robust, sustainable knowledge-based economy.
