At the kind invitation of Ms. Soraya MOULOUDJI, Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs, Professor Mohamed BOUKHARI, President of the National Economic, Social and Environmental Council, participated on 20 November 2025 in the activities marking the celebration of World Children’s Day. The event was held at the Family Center for Social Security in Ben Aknoun as part of the annual commemoration of this international day dedicated to promoting and protecting children’s rights.

The ceremony was marked by the official launch of “El Dalil” (The Guide), a digital platform for institutions and specialized centers within the National Solidarity sector. The platform seeks to improve access to information and to strengthen support for children placed in specialized care.

In addition, the NESEC President also attended a special ceremony organized in honor of children, at the invitation of Ms. Meriem CHERFI, President of the National Organ for the Protection and Promotion of Childhood (ONPPE). The event provided an opportunity to highlight ONPPE’s actions to protect children’s rights, as well as its initiatives to raise awareness and promote child well-being.

The President’s participation forms part of the Council’s support for national efforts to promote children’s rights; enhance the convergence of public policies in favor of childhood; underscore the need for coordination among sectors and national bodies to ensure the implementation of international conventions on children’s rights; and to contribute to the continuous improvement of programs dedicated to children.
